Our journey spans three generations. It began with our founder, Mr. Bhavesh Shah, who entered the polymers industry through his uncle’s business in Mumbai and, after recognising the immense potential of engineering plastics in India, decided to join him. He expanded the business strategically to Pune, where he identified a valuable opportunity to directly supply to OEMs and founded Perfect Packing Associates (PPA) in 1992.

PPA initially focused on trading industrial insulation products and polymers in Pune and gradually transitioned into traditional stock shapes of engineering and advanced engineering polymers with Mr. Kaushik Shah, the founder’s brother, joining the business and contributing to its growth. Over time, it built strong relationships with customers by delivering reliable materials and providing technical expertise tailored to their evolving needs. As the industries we served advanced, so did customer expectations. OEMs and machine manufacturers increasingly sought integrated solutions that combined both polymer materials and precision-machined components under one roof. Recognising this opportunity, PPA partnered with Mr. Chetan Mehta in 2016 to establish an in-house machining facility, marking the birth of Plastic Engineering Solutions (PES).

What began with a single small space operating a milling machine, lathe, and drilling machine has since grown into a fully CNC-driven manufacturing operation capable of machining everything from commodity plastics to the most advanced engineering polymers. Today, as a third-generation family business, we combine decades of industry knowledge with modern manufacturing capabilities, while the next generation works alongside us to shape the future of PES and continue delivering innovative solutions to industries across India and abroad.
